Physical DescriptionGlass, Plexiglas, mirror; acid-etched, assembled. The artwork is a series of individual glass modules originally sandwiched between exterior and interior plate glass panels. The fence is constructed with quarter-inch plate glass and held together with silicone and nylon nuts and bolts. Archival photos and quotations are etched onto shards of glass and siliconed onto the pickets of the fence. Large animal figures of smoked gray and brown Plexiglas function as a sunscreen across the 50-foot span of the piece.
