Physical DescriptionTranslucent pale green glass, translucent blue glass handle; mold-blown, four-piece mold; rim reworked; (handle applied. Jug with cylindrical body; rim everted, then folded upward and inward; cylindrical neck; rounded shoulders; slightly constricted cylindrical body which bulges, then curves in toward bottom; flat base. Handle attached to rim and shoulder, pushed up to form thumb-stop at top, divided into 'fish tail' at bottom. Decoration in relief; on shoulder, traces only of low relief; on body, six panels separated by vertical colonettes which support alternate triangular and segmental pediments; each panel has different motif: clockwise from below handle, (1) plant, (2) two-handled vase, (3) pair of strigils, (4-6) plants; below panels, zone of gadroons; on base, two concentric circles.
