Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Almost colorless, with faint yellowish tinge; decorated in brown shading to yellow. Blown; stained. Fragment of roughly cylindrical bowl. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.1 cm) descends vertically before bending inward 3.7 cm below lip. Decorated on outside only: beginning on lip, band of solid lunettes, which do not touch one another; below this, occupying rest of vertical wall, band of presumably continuous repetitive ornament with single borderline at top and bottom; surviving part has circular medallion with single border containing palmette on kite-shaped stalk, with open center and pair of curling leaves at bottom; at one side, border of adjoining medallion.Provenance
