Physical DescriptionColorless and red stain; pressed and engraved. a) Bottle with 8 panel sides, long neck that tapers slightly towards wide flared rim. Sides of bottle decorated with 4 panels, one showing horse jumping, one showing building with inscription underneath “Schorubruna”. Next panel is a building with the inscription “Burgthor”. Third panel is another building with inscription underneath “Steubauslirige”. b) Stopper with flat faceted top, has inscription “7” on bottom of stopper. c) Tumbler, with 8 panel sides Sides of bottle decorated with 4 panels, one showing horse jumping, one showing building with inscription underneath “Kauvt Zollamt”. Next panel is a building with the inscription “Staendehaus”. Third panel is another building with inscription underneath “Thesius Tempel”. d) Plate with scalloped edge and red stain decoration of grapes, leaves and vines around edge; matches decoration of bottle and tumbler.Provenance
