Physical DescriptionMulti-colored lead glass, opalescent, translucent, transparent, stained, molded, cut, leaded. Large ecclesiastical rectangular panel depicting the figure of Joseph holding a long staff. Upper section hemispherical, depicting wheat sheaves. Wooden frame; five iron rods cross the front of the panel horizontally and are anchored into the frame. The rods are attached to the glass caming with thick wires. Most of the glass sections are flat, particularly on the back side. The main exception are the sections used for Joseph's robe; many of which are very thick, modeled sections, that are almost three-dimensional. On the back side two noticeably thick pieces of glass are two small purple section at Joseph's shoulder (left side, looking at back). Signed at the lower center, right border "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK".Provenance
