Physical DescriptionTransparent greenish blue; one large and many small bubbles. Blown; relief-cut. Bowl: originally hemispherical, but now distorted (see below). Rim plain, with rounded top and slight thickening on outside; wall curves down and in; base is shaped like disk (D. 3.25 cm, Th. 0.2 cm). Decoration on wall consists of continuous horizontal rib just below rim, and three horizontal rows of bosses arranged in quincunx. Each row has eight disks, all of which are concave (from top to bottom): (1) horizontal oval bosses (L. 2.7–2.9 cm), each with knob at center; (2) circular bosses (D. 2.5 cm), each with knob at center; and (3) tear-shaped bosses (H. 2.4–2.6 cm, W. 1.7 cm) with points uppermost.Provenance
