Physical DescriptionBand of opaque white, translucent amethyst and translucent medium blue glass, some pitting and bubbles with dull interior surface, exterior polished recently; mosaic glass or ribbon glass technique. Fragment preserves section of rim and part of body, design consists of bands of blue, amethyst and white coiled in a spiral motif forming a bold regular pattern over the surface of the vessel; the rim is rounded by grinding, wall bends down and in gently to form a convex or lens-shaped form as far as preserved.
