Physical DescriptionTeardrop-Shaped Dish. Colorless non-lead glass, translucent white, orange, and yellow enamels; cut, ground, kiln-formed--slumped (sheet steel mold), reverse enameled--powdered enamels sifted and manipulated, fired. Low, elongated teardrop-shaped dish with sides angling up from teardrop-shaped base; overall exterior of dish has been decorated with white granular coloration; rays of white extending from base to exterior edge, narrow lines of colorless showing in between, flat base has concentric colored droplet-shaped rings of yellow (at center) fading into white fading into orange, the orange fades into the white radiating lines; scribed through the enamel before firing at wide end of base, reading from front: "M.H."; also on base in orange (ink?): "CG/3" or possibly "6613".
