Physical DescriptionCup with Rosettes. Transparent pale bluish green. Blown in dip mold; pincered. Cup with one handle. Rim plain, with rounded lip; upper two-thirds of wall splays, without convex profile, then turns sharply in and tapers; base plain; pontil mark (D. about 1 cm). Single handle, apparently with strap-shaped cross section, dropped onto wall at and immediately below widest point. Molded decoration on lower part of wall: about 20 faint vertical ribs that are most visible at edge of base. Pincered decoration on upper part of wall: seven oval rosettes, each with circular boss at center surrounded by six identical bosses; surfaces behind rosettes are plain and slightly recessed.Provenance
