Physical DescriptionColorless glass with greenish-gray and umber brown enamels; mold-blown and enameled. (a) Bulbous shape; horizontal polished upper rim; thick cylindrical neck; bulbous body with eight ribs which are narrow at top and spread out at base giving the appearance of organic lattice work; recessed surfaces are enameled, while rib surfaces are polished; concave base with polished rim; engraved on side near base: "Lalique"; (b) concave volcano-like center with eight rayed ribs descending and rising to downward beveled rim which tapers angularly to cylindrical sleeve having eight masks alternating with eight downward prongs; eight section rounded and crenellated base rim; recessed areas are enameled umber brown.Provenance
