Physical DescriptionTranslucent "Alabaster" cased with "Rosaline" lead glass; blown and acid etched. (a) Circular upper rim; short cylindrical neck swells abruptly to rounded shoulder and tapers to base; ground base; polished pontil; wheel engraved on base: "Fred'k Carder/ Steuben". (b) Pointed knop finial; dome-shape top tapers and swells horizontally to rounded edge; short tapered base area; flat ground lower rim; acid etched with leaves radiating from finial and flowers surrounded by opposed " 3" swags; unmarked.
