Physical DescriptionCover of a Pokal. Red (possibly gold-ruby) and clear glass with very few minute bubbles; free-blown, tooled, cut and engraved. Set-in domed cover with pontil mark and with pointed pear shaped finial resting on a double disk and having a tear surrounded by red ribbons twisted from left to right; top of finial cut in facets; on cover, a frieze of spirals and scrolls, alternating with hearts which have three balls in center.
