Physical DescriptionFragment of Cup. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall descends almost vertically, with slightly convex profile. Exterior of wall has at least two horizontal bands of scratched ornament, each bordered by single horizontal scratched line at top and at bottom of upper band (bottom of lower band is missing), and with additional scratched line above upper band. Upper (narrower) band contains row of narrow isosceles triangles, bases of which are contiguous and are filled with vertical hatching; triangular spaces between each pair of hatched triangles are plain. Lower (broader) band apparently contains large isosceles triangles, sides of which are in form of narrow stripes with scratched outlines and plain interiors; each triangle apparently contains one palmette with scratched outlines and plain interior; these elements have alternating upward- and downward-pointing tops. Backgrounds have vertical hatching. Glass has stones and few small bubbles.Provenance
