Physical DescriptionTransparent yellowish brown; many very small bubbles. Blown; scratch-engraved. Fragment of cylindrical cup, preserving small part of rim and upper wall. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall curves down and in toward bottom. Exterior of wall has at least two horizontal bands of scratched ornament. Upper band has pair of horizontal lines at top and pair of lines dividing it from lower band. Upper (narrower) band contains uneven row of isosceles triangles, bases of which are contiguous and filled with vertical hatching; triangular spaces between each pair of hatched triangles are plain. Lower (broader) band apparently contains large isosceles triangles, sides of which are in form of long, narrow ovals with scratched outlines and plain interiors; each triangle contains one arc-shaped element with scratched outlines and plain interior; these elements have alternating upward- and downward-pointing ends. Backgrounds have transverse hatching.
