Physical DescriptionGreenish colorless glass with bubbles; blown, wheel-cut and polished. Shallow dish; short outsplayed rim with ground lip; wall splays to rounded carination then curves inward to center; wheel-cut decoration on exterior; below lip, narrow horizontal band; below carination, three concentric zones of ornament: (1) at center disc surrounded by second, countersunk disc and two bands of hatching with broad groove as border; (2) arcade with double outline forming star-like design; one oval depression inside each point of star, three oval depressions outside; circular depression in each semi-circular space between the points; (3) frieze with inner border consisting of four timely engraved concentric center and outer border consisting of one concentric circle; between them sixteen panels of each size separated by radial cuts; eight cross-hatched panels alternate with eight panels, each with seven radial grooves surmounted by triangular cuts forming zigzag line.Provenance
