Physical DescriptionColorless or almost colorless. Blown; facet and linear-cut. Bottle with globular body. Rim is beveled on inner and outer sides of lip, and tapers; neck is wider at bottom than at top, and has straight side except at bottom, where it curves down and out; wall curves out, down, and in; base is slightly concave and has circular depression (D. 3 cm) at center; no pontil mark. Rim, neck, and wall have facet- and linear-cut ornament. On lip and outside of rim: 10 contiguous vertical facets. On neck: 11 contiguous vertical facets extending from top to bottom of straight section, below which, at bottom of curve, is one continuous band of 47 hollow circular facets bordered by groove at top and bottom. On wall: one continuous register bordered at top by pair of grooves and at bottom by single groove. Register contains 12 contiguous vertical panels, with single groove dividing each panel from its neighbors. Six panels are relatively broad and filled with crosshatching. These alternate with six narrower panels, each of which contains one vertical groove rising from apex of isosceles triangle formed by lower border of register and two pairs of short grooves; near top of vertical groove, one hollow circular facet, and at top of groove, triangular group of six hollow circular facets (one above two above three).
