Physical DescriptionClear glass with slight greyish-yellow tinge and minute bubbles; surface slightly crizzled; free-blown and tooled, with applied and tooled decoration. (a) Conical foot with infolded rim and rough pontil mark, composite stem, consisting of a solid spool- like part supported by four large knobs: the first one is large and spherical, the second and third are spherical with a pinched central section, both knobs oblique to each other, the top knob is spherical, round funnel bowl; (b) domed flanged cover with a ribbed knob as finial, surmounted by a button-like terminal point; two crimped rigaree bands have been applied to upper two knobs, two bands have been applied to the top knob of the stem.
