Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, gilt. (a) Cup- shaped bowl with gilt rim; engraved decoration of the crowned Royal coat of arms of Great Britain on one side, with lion and unicorn supporters, and ribbon below inscribed "DIEV ET MON DROIT"; crowned oval panel on the reverse, with matte line and beaded frame enclosing the inscription "DEM KONIG/UND/DEM LANDE/ WOHL", with swags of fruit suspended from rings at either side; panel and facet-cut stem composed of a ball knop over an angular inverted baluster; domed and folded foot with scale faceting at the base of the stem; ground pontil mark. (b) Domed, circular form with folded, gilt rim and inset brim; band of alternating triangular scale faceting on the shoulder; faceted spire finial mounted on a disk; rough pontil mark on the inside.
