Physical DescriptionDecanter and Stopper. (a) Colorless non-lead glass, of faint bluish tinge; free-blown, cut and engraved. Slender conical body tapering into short neck with narrow plain flange; ground and polished pontil mark; decoration: flat facet-cutting on neck; on body, engraved circlet of alternate small "sun flower" and chain of polished ovals above narrow band with polished zigzag line, and, depending from band, alternate tassels and swags of polished ovals and "sunflower" at center, band of cut flutes at bottom. (b) Lozenger stopper with notched edge and, on faces, row of facets forming plain polygon center.Provenance
