Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, molded, engraved and cut. (a) Cylindrical bowl with flat bottom, sides engraved with a band of polished ovals at the top, with elaborate scroll borders and pendant swags of fruit and flowers; band of polished ovals at the bottom, above an elaborate scroll band; molded stem with gadrooning at the base, above a conical pad with notched rim, and a larger spreading, conical pad; conical foot with folded rim; band of foliate scrolls and band of polished circles and lines on the top; polished pontil mark on underside of foot; (b) Cylindrical shape with rounded flange and inset, cylindrical rim; engraved scroll bands on top and sides, band of polished circles and lines between; dumbbell above reel finial with cut star on top.Provenance
