Physical DescriptionTransparent blue-gray non-lead glass; cast with internal modeling in a mold, cut, wheel-carved, polished. Thick block-shaped sculpture that rests on bottom edge;front left, off-center is a large flat, wheel-carved and polished square area through which a stylized three-dimensional face (roughly divided in half by elongated triangular nose) can be seen; three sides framing face seem to depict irregularly sculpted and textured stylized arm and sleeve; lower left corner of face square rests on small hand; back side shows deep negative modeling (with traces of the mold material); overall seed bubbles and mold marks; intermittent polishing of edges; base has been left rough; inscribed in block letters along lower right edge of face: "LIBENSKÝ-BRYCHOVÂ".Provenance
