Physical DescriptionCelery Vase. Colorless, lead glass; blown, cut and engraved. Cylindrical shape; rim cut with scallops; sides with diamond-stipple engraved design of a circle surrounded by a curling vine and flanked by two fantastic birds; one side with a shield with stars and striped inside circle; other side blank; birds and vines differ slightly on two sides; straight drawn stem with vertically cut panels around it; applied circular foot with star pattern cut underneath.
