Physical DescriptionColorless glass, with pale green fracture; small bubbles; blown, wheel-cut, ground, polished, and engraved. Fragment: floor of large, shallow dish. Decorated on outside with figured scene delineated by polished facets, some of which have engraved details: (when viewed from inside) part of circular medallion outlined by six closely-spaced concentric wheel-cut circles, containing, toward center, lower torso, right upper leg, and left thigh of naked figure, moving toward viewer's left but with torso probably shown frontally; area between figure and border on viewer's left side occupied by vine with trunk which curves upward from left to right, passing in front of figure's hips, and several branches bearing bunches of grapes, leaves, and tendrils; outside border, concentric band of curvilinear ornament, possibly vine scroll or similar motif.
