Physical DescriptionTranslucent deep blue, emerald and yellow-green, amethyst glass bands with opaque white band and colorless bands casing gold foil, patches of silver iridescence on both sides; mosaic or gold band glass technique, lathe-cut. Fragment preserves side and top of lid with undulating banded pattern, major preserved colors are blue and green, the lip of the cover is beveled and ground smooth.
