Physical DescriptionOpaque deep beige with a pink tinge, thick white iridescent crust flaking away from surface, heavy pitting; probably cast, lathe-cut and polished. Fragment preserves base and lower part of vessel wall, slightly concave base preserves a narrow relief-cut band insert concave in profile which steps down to a second relief-cut band and into the underside which spreads up somewhat toward the center where a relief-cut boss with central dot is preserved; relief-cut bands must have served as the foot and short section of wall spreads up and out from there as far as preserved.Provenance
