Physical DescriptionTransparent light yellowish-green glass, some bubbles; mold- blown, multiple mold, rim reworked, handle applied. Tall hexagonal body with straight sides; rim slightly outsplayed, pinched into trefoil mouth, fire-polished; short cylindrical neck, which joins flat shoulder near front of vessel; base slightly concave, large pontil scar; thread wound once around neck; ribbon handle with thick vertical trail attached to shoulder and rim; mold-blown decoration on body on all six sides, clockwise, beginning below handle: (1) stylized head with radial crown, cross, bucranium; (2) indeterminate motif, chalice, group of five transverse lines; (3) five conjoined lozenges; (4) quadruped with tail and horns or long ears, indeterminate motif; (5) two peacocks, one upright, the other inverted; (6) as (3).
