Physical DescriptionCanes of opaque white, opaque yellow, opaque greenish-yellow and opaque red in bright translucent green matrix, pitted, cut in half and mounted on a stone plaque, repolished recently; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Fragment appears to have been cut into a regular polygonal pattern before it was mounted; design appears to be stylized leaf or tree with yellow trumpet-shaped stem on top of progressively larger heart-shaped stylized leaf elements resembling an evergreen, each of these leaf elements contains a white center case with greenish-yellow and outlined with bright red on a bright green background.Provenance
