Physical DescriptionGoblet. Colorless, with brownish tinge; lattimo. Vetro a retorti, vetro a reticello; tooled. Slightly pointed hemispherical bowl with fire polished rim; joined by glue-bit of colorless glass to blown inverted baluster stem; joined by second colorless glue-bit to tall, blown, domed foot of double ogee profile, with infolded rim and pontil mark.Bowl, stem, and foot are all decorated with elaborate design a reticello, with groups of five equally spaced single threads alternating with twisted a retorti cables of six strands, catching bubbles in intersections.
