Physical DescriptionBowl. Transparent yellowish brown; few bubbles, but some dark inclusions. Blown in mold with two parts. Bowl shaped like truncated cone. Rim turned outward, with rounded lip; wall almost straight, but with slightly convex profile; base has vestigial foot-ring and is concave; pontil mark circular (D. about 1 cm). Mold-blown decoration on wall consists of three continuous horizontal bands (from top to bottom): (1) narrow band of indeterminate ornament (possibly triangular elements containing vegetal motifs) above pair of depressed circles; (2) much broader band of six adjacent oval ring-and-dot motifs, each with depressed dot surrounded by two depressed concentric circles (W. just over 4 cm); below which is (3) pair of reduced circles. Mold seam runs from rim to rim, across base, between two pairs of ring-and-dot motifs.
