Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, stained, enameled, silvered, gilt. Waisted shape with heavy disk foot, rim notched; star-cut, yellow stained bottom; glass gilt on the inside, silvered (now black) on the outside, except for a rectangular reverse, framed with gilt foliate borders on a yellow stained ground, enclosing a view of a cathedral (St. Steven's); inscribed in gold script on the frame below: "La cathedrale de St_ Etienne a Vienne."
