Physical DescriptionBeaker. Colorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled, stained, gilt. Cylindrical shape with flared rim; foliate gilt border on a stained yellow ground at the rim; stained yellow rectangular frame, with gilt foliate decoration, around a transparent- enameled landscape with a cupid aiming a bow and arrow toward the viewer, with a quiver and arrows at his feet, and roses alongside; elaborate gilt foliate scrolls flank the frame; signed "C. L. Hoffmeister pinx" at the lower right; stained yellow on the polished, flat base.Provenance
