Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, gilded. (a) Large rounded bowl with cut oval facets at base; gilded rim; engraved coat of arms, partly gilded; panel-cut at base of bowl; stem composed of a gilded capstan above a faceted flattened knop, gilded capstan merging into a large, facet-cut inverted baluster with large air bead; gilded at base; domed foot with gilded rim and engraved foliate border; rough pontil mark; (b) dome shape with two bands of fine cut ovals, an engraved foliate wreath like that on (a) between; gilded rim; facet-cut baluster finial, gilded at top and bottom; rough pontil mark.
