Physical DescriptionCovered Goblet with Harbour Scene. Colorless glass; blown, tooled, applied, cut and engraved, gilded. The cover has oval facets and a gilded edge with a facet-cut and gilded knop on top. The goblet consists of a conical shaped bowl atop a facet-cut knop and cylindrical stem on a circular foot with scalloped edge. The bowl is decorated with a harbour scene on one side and an open cartouche on the other with a gilded rim. The underside of the foot has a cut, alternating, pattern of wide and narrow ovals while the top of the foot has an alternating pattern of triangles and dots along the outer edge.
