Physical DescriptionTransparent deep blue, opaque red; blown, tooled, cut with shears, applied. Hat: blue with red trim. Low, domed cap which curves inward slightly at bottom; below this side descends almost vertically to horizontal bottom, which has two opposed downward projections like ear-protectors. Trim: at top of cap, barrel-shaped knop; immediately below inward curve at bottom of cap, one continuous horizontal trail; at bottom of hat and on ear-protectors, another continuous trail. On inner surface of one ear-protector, acid-etched or scratched inscription: "Monica/ Backström/ BODA UNIK/ 1979./ SWEDEN" (signature cursive). Rectangular paper label inscribed in black within black border on silver: "HANDMADE/ BODA/ SWEDEN" with " " in top right corner.
