Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown into a mold, filled with pulled glass threads, sealed with colorless acrylic base (adhesive unknown). Large hollow egg resting on broad end; filled with nest of finely pulled glass threads; base is ground flat then sealed with a disc of circular plexiglass; inscribed in script on base edge of vessel: "206791027 Kosta Boda M. Backström Atelier"; black type on acetate label: "KOSTA BODA/ SINCE 1742".
