Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, sand; blown vessel, filled with sand and sealed with acrylic base (adhesive unknown); solid sandblasted egg. Double-walled rounded vessel with wide opening; sides tapering to narrow base; space between walls has been partially filled with fine white sand; base is ground flat then sealed with a disc of circular plexiglass; solid sandblasted egg rests in cavity; inscribed in script on base edge of vessel: "Atelier Kosta Boda M. Backström N. 206845417"; black type on acetate label: "KOSTA BODA/ SINCE 1742".
