Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown-molded, enameled, molded pewter cover. Tapered, straight-sided, cylindrical form, with four raised, blue-enameled ribs encircling the sides; applied loop handle with blue enameled band; enameled blue band at the base; polished flat bottom; hinged pewter ring cover, holding a thin sheet of colorless glass in the center; bulbous thumbpiece; the hinge attached to the handle, with a pointed projection.
