Physical DescriptionBottle with Stopper. Colorless glass, iridized, with gold and pink, orange, and chocolate-brown pigments; (a) mold blown, iridized and decorated with fired pigments, ground; (b) flameworked, iridized, and ground. (a) Bottle: almost cylindrical, but wider at bottom of wall than at top. Rim plain, rounded; short cylindrical neck; rounded shoulder; wall straight, flaring slightly toward bottom; base flat; no pontil mark. Side of neck is very thick; body is solid, except for small, tear-shaped cavity, approximately one-third of body's height. Slightly iridescent. Wall decorated with continuous curvilinear design of ribbon-like elements in chocolate-brown merging with gold and in pink, and with groups of orange, chocolate and gold bubble-like motifs. Interior of neck partly ground. Scratched signature at bottom of wall: "Joel Philip Myres 1977". (b) Stopper. Knop roughly spheroid, but somewhat pointed at top and with greatest diameter below mid-point; stem expands slightly at top, then tapers to rounded end; knop slightly iridescent; stem partly ground.
