Physical DescriptionOpaque brownish orange glass, cased with two layers of colorless, with translucent red, pale buff and white decoration between the colorless layers; parison cased, mold-blown, painted, cased again. Cylindrical shape; rim plain, with flat, but uneven top; short neck, which splays at bottom; sloping shoulder, rounded at edge; vertical wall; plain base, with pontil mark; decoration on shoulder and wall, consisting of continuous row of poppy flowers, mostly open, but two in bud, on long stems, usually with pair of runcinate leaves, all in red with buff or white outlines and buff patches on some flowers, buds and leaves; signature scratched on ground and polished patch on base: "Dillon/2980".
