Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut. (a) Tapered, straight- sided bowl with rounded base; cut raised, notched border below the rim; wide band of panels of cut chevrons and fluting, separated by notched bands; band of oval faceting below, flanked by two diagonally notched bands, above a band of polished oval facets; spreading foot with cut ovals in two sizes on the underside; polished pontil mark. (b) Domed form with inset brim; cut herringbone band on the shoulder, flanked by a diagonally notched band above, and a band of polished half ovals below; faceted pointed finial applied to a button and two mereses; rough pontil mark inside the cover.
