Physical DescriptionOpaque white glass, with brown, red, orange and yellow paint; blown and cold painted. Cup; rim cracked off and ground; side slightly convex, curving in at bottom; narrow base, which rises slightly at center; painted decoration: on side, (a) four birds, apparently water fowl, two swimming to right and two swimming to left, perhaps with vegetation on either side; (b) opposite them, a number of wreaths or garlands; (c) on base, a rosette; the birds have brown outlines and yellow and orange plumage; the wreaths or garlands are red, orange and yellow; of the rosette, only traces of red survive.
