Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with polychrome fused glass shards, gold and silver leaf, brass stand; flamework. Stoppered egg on three-legged wire stand; egg-shaped hollow body with concave opening rim; body decorated with fragments of gold and silver leaf overlaid with transparent shards of various colors forming a patchwork pattern; tip of egg ground flat; flame worked solid drop stopper; object sits in brass wire stand formed from a circle attached to three concave curved legs; inscribed in script near base: "Frederick Birkhill 1987".
