Physical DescriptionPhylactery. Opaque deep purple (appearing black in reflected light), opaque red, and opaque turquoise. Tooled; applied, marvered. Phylactery. Horizontal cylinder, perhaps solid, with applied ends, attached to horizontal tube intended for suspension. Cylinder, which may or may not be hollow, consists of purple tube decorated with turquoise trail, which has been dragged up and down to create zigzag pattern; at extremities of cylinder, single red trail; at center of each end, purple trail with red circle, and blue blob. Suspension tube (L. 2.8 cm, D. 1.6 cm) is purple, with spirally wound blue trail.
