Physical DescriptionGoblet with a Hunting Scene. Colorless non-lead glass; free-blown and engraved. Broad bowl with straight sides spreading slightly from rounded bottom; applied composite multi-knop stem -- stemmed triple-blade knop, hollow ball knop between triple-blade knops, hollow inverted baluster knop, double blade knop, cushion knop; applied very wide circular foot with narrow underfolded rim; "sculptured" engraving on bowl, band depicting forest, castle in background, boar hunt in foreground (figures polished enough to make a smooth surface without destroying the matte finish); on foot, oval-bead circlet within feathery wreath of leaves and berries.Provenance
