Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent deep amethyst (appearing black) glass, metallic, gold tone (designer says they are silver) plated metal fittings; hot-worked pulled cane, cut, polished, drilled, assembled with fabricated plated metal. Collar necklace consisting of thin circular metal ring flattened or extruded to create four squared sides, each end of open section is tipped with a solid metal ball; straight length of metal hans from collar by a small ring and ends with semicircular metal piece enclosing a circular cane slice suspended on pins allowing rotation of the glass; cane consists of concentric rings: dark outer ring surrounding wide colorless ring punctuated by five evenly-spaced small rings, surrounding smaller black ring enclosing colorless interior; unsigned.
