Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent deep amethyst (appearing black) glass, metallic gold, gold or brass tone (designer says they are silver) plated metal fittings; hot-worked pulled cane, cut, polished, drilled, assembled with fabricated plated metal. Two earrings: each consisting of semicircular extruded or flattened metal piece enclosing and supporting a circular cane slice suspended on pins allowing rotation of the glass; cane consists of concentric rings: dark outer ring surrounding wide colorless ring punctuated by five small rings, surrounding smaller black ring enclosing colorless interior; short length of metal extends vertically from mount and is backed with metal clip for attachment to ear, clip is impressed: "BABY"; glass is unsigned; metal clip impressed: "BABY".
