白色涅玻璃光素鼻烟壶
Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper and Stand. Opalescent white glass, amethyst stone, ivory, cork, wood; blown, cold-worked. (a) Tall, slightly misshapen, ovoid form, with tall, slightly flared neck, the rim flat and the inside ground deeply for a stopper and spoon; the shoulders sloping into a bulbous base; the foot cold worked as a five-petaled flower with cross-hatched center. (b) Domed, cylindrical form, of amethyst stone; mounted on a cylindrical cork shank, an ivory spoon with small oval bowl and long, thin handle attached to the center of the cork. (c) Four prongs, like birds’ heads, ring like feet below, on small pads, attached to a turned ring at the center.
