Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper and Saucer. Transparent dark green, pink lead glass; mold-blown, cut. (a) Flattened circular form, the faces cut and polished flat; short cylindrical neck, ground for a stopper and spoon; the oval base recessed. (b) Domed, pink glass button top, with tiny faceting at the edge, with some tiny remnants of gilding on the ring underneath; mounted on a flat disk of mother of pearl, on a tapered cork shank, with short yellow ivory spatulate spoon with thin reed- like handle projecting from the center of the base of the cork. (c) Transparent dark green lead glass; blown, cut. Shallow, circular form, the edges curved gently upward; cut foot rim of square cross section.
