Physical DescriptionOpaque white over translucent deep blue; blown, cased, probably by dipping, carved, ground, polished. Triangular fragment of vessel wall; decorated in white on blue background with parts of three elements: (A) on right, front legs and part of body of horse, facing left, at full gallop or (more likely) rearing; (B) between and below horse's legs, curved wing-like object that extends upward and toward right, terminating in a point; (C) to left of horse, trident-like object with S-shaped outer prongs. Inner surface has numerous horizontal striations.Provenance
