Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide. Tall panel-cut cross, mounted on two flattened oval diamond-faceted knops; above an oval plaque with convex oval window on the front, side with prismatic cutting, back covered with strawberry diamonds; enclosing a molded sulphide plaque of Mary holding the infant Jesus in her arms, with angels in clouds at her feet; reverse flat, with an oval black mark at the center; on a stem with diamond-faceted flattened ball knop, a large ball knop with large pointed diamonds, and a paneled flattened knop; domed and terraced foot, middle ridge with linked oval facets; underside of the foot with cut star and radial cut grooves at the rim.Provenance
